Thinking together with Krishnamurti – Is thought the cause of our misery?

Published on March 20, 2016 under brain health

When I first discovered Jiddu Krishnamurti, I found it difficult to follow what he was saying, mainly because he is so simple and direct.  He does not go on about spiritual fluff but talks about what is actually happening in our minds.  By seeing ourselves clearly, the brain and mind change, instead of trying to do something about the mind, which he says is just adding another layer to the already confused psychological process.  If you don’t resonate with him, try him again a few times in the future.  That’s what I did and the second time I read his teachings, it clicked and it has had a profound impact on my life.  It’s possible I went nuts in part by seeing the the world too clearly.  I have watch this talk and the second one on this page several times.
