This sounds kind of like what it’s like to be in the state of Mania…at least sometimes
I’ve queued up two short clips at the end of Krishnamurti’s talks. Many times he talks about a “different way of living”, a way of living that isn’t according to our conditioning and programs. To me, it sounds familiar to what it’s like to be in mania. It feels like living in the present moment and acting based on perception of what is right in front of me. It’s a state of being that feels new, fresh, and full of energy. I feel the process is evolution in that the world needs people percieving and acting in the moment. The trouble is, it seems weird to onlookers who are lost in their own inner monologue and can’t understand why the individual is so passionate and energetic. Maybe one day, this won’t be so abnormal. I love how he talks about “another dimension” as I feel my trips to manic land were like living in another dimension of the same world. It’s difficult to stay there when the world is designed for the ego and acting according to conditioned programs. We are more robotic than actually living. Mania feels like acutally living.
